The Neighborhood Center’s paid youth internship program offers high school and college students the opportunity to engage in meaningful, hands-on work at the Easton Urban Farm.
Over the course of six weeks, interns help grow fresh food for the community while building practical skills in agriculture, teamwork, and responsibility. Through this experience, they strengthen communication, problem-solving, self-discipline, and perseverance -- skills that carry into school, work, and everyday life.
More than a seasonal job, the internship creates space for young people to contribute to their community, develop confidence, and see the impact of their work.
The program is open to high school and college students ages 15 and up.
This work is made possible through grants and the support of individual donors. To learn more or to support the program, email Farm Manager Kate Taylor or call 610.253.4253.
