Youth Internship Program
Growing Food
Growing Leaders
Growing Community

In Summer 2021, The Neighborhood Center launched an eight week paid youth internship program. Through the program, interns spend eight weeks working at the Easton Urban Farm growing food for the community and learning about farming as well as teamwork, communication, self-discipline, problem solving and perseverance.
Farm interns gain valuable life and job skills, and have a great time while doing it!
The internship program is open to students entering 10th, 11th or 12th grade and are at least 15 years of age. In Spring 2023, The Neighborhood Center will be accepting applications for the Summer 2023 program.
The program is funded through grants and individuals donors. For more information about the program, including ways in which you can support the program, contact Jake Williams at 610.253.4253 or jwilliams@eastonanc.org .
