The Neighborhood Center needs your help to assist needy families in our community enjoy the holidays. A meal at Thanksgiving or gifts for their children-- something many of us take for granted--is often a luxury for needy families.
Help A Needy Family Enjoy Thanksgiving Dinner!
Thanksgiving Baskets
The Thanksgiving Food Basket Drive seeks to help families have a fulfilling Thanksgiving meal. The Neighborhood Center seeks donors to provide food baskets. Suggested items include a $25 gift card for a Turkey, canned vegetables, gravy mix, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce.
Last year we helped over 100 families thanks to the generosity of community members. This year, we hope to help at least 150 families.

Adopt-a-Family
Adopt-a-Family is a program to help families in need during the holiday season. Families who currently receive services from The Neighborhood Center can sign up for assistance by contacting us and will be matched with a donor who would like to help. Donors will be supplied with a wish list of items the family needs or wants. If you would like to help a family this holiday season, please contact Susan Rambo at srambo@eastonanc,org or 610-253-4253.
Unable to adopt a family, you can still support the Adopt-a-Famiiy Program by purchasing gifts through our Amazon Wish List. Monetary donations also can be made by check or by clicking on the Donate button. Please not that the donation is for Adopt-a-Family when making donation.
Some helpful tips if you decide to adopt a family:

You are welcome to state your preference. For example: a small family with 1 or 2 kids or a large family. We will try to accommodate you.

We try to get all families assigned before Thanksgiving, so sponsors can take advantage of Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales.

Most sponsors spend approximately $75-$100 per child, depending on age

You will receive the names, ages, genders and gift suggestions for the family
