To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends that you wear a mask when you leave your home and go to public places. But there’s no reason that a mask needs to be boring! Be creative and show us your best design for a face mask.

 

The Neighborhood Center Face Mask Design Contest is open to all.

The Board of Directors of The Neighborhood Center with choose winning designs in the following categories (1) The Neighborhood Center is ….. (2) Funniest and (3) Most Creative.   There is a Student Division for children in grades K-12 and an Adult division.

Winners in each category of the Student Division will win a $50 gift card and winners in each category of the Adult Division will win a $100 gift card.  The Overall Winner will be selected from the six winning designs, which will be displayed and voted on at The Neighborhood Center’s Mask-A-Rade Tricky Tray to be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Palmer Fire Company.  The Overall Winner’s design will be reproduced and sold by The Neighborhood Center, with all proceeds from sales of the mask supporting our programs and services.

A fully completed Entry and Release Form must be included with contest entry. Submit your Entry and Release Form and a photo or scanned version of your mask design on the Mask Template Form to Isla Long, ilong@eastonanc.org, by 5PM on September 25, 2020.
